Adam joined OMAFRA in 2009 as a Business & Investment Analyst to provide business and sector insights to drive Ontario food industry competitiveness. He became OMAFRA’s Food Industry Traceability Coordinator after spending a year designing funding programs for producers and processors – most recently the Growing Forward 2 biosecurity intake to address challenges with PED disease in swine.
Prior to working for Ontario, Adam held a business development and export role with a grain and food products company in Ontario. He began his career with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Pulse Canada.
He is a professional agrologist and holds a B.Sc. in Agroecology.
