Provincial meat inspector in licensed abattoirs in Eastern Ontaro for 16 years and a further processing inspector in freestanding meat plants for 2 years.
With the Regulatory Compliance Unit from 2007 to current.
-Respond to complaints from the public, stakeholders and internal program areas
-Monitor compliance with existing regulations
-Collaborate with other enforcement agencies
-Progressive compliance through education, advisory, inspections, enforcement (tickets), hearings, and special projects
-Provide specialized compliance support to various internal Ministry programs including meat program, Foods of Plant origin, Dairy program, veterinary services, beef cattle financial protection program
-This specialized support also includes training and education with obstruction, note taking, orientation and testifying.
