I have been working in the tourism and hospitality industry for the last 20 years and working at Ste. Anne’s Spa since 2005.
I pursued my passion by studying tourism and hospitality and well as business in Mexico. I was one of twelve students in the country to win a scholarship to continue my studies at Malaspina University College in British Columbia and Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. After I finished the program, I decided to stay and settle in Canada and I’ve been part of the Ste. Anne’s Spa family for the last eleven years.
I was instrumental in the creation and selection of everyday recipes for Ste. Anne’s Cookbook (which is now in its 3rd edition).
At Ste. Anne’s Spa, I have been involved in different roles such as Dining Room Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Duty Manager and most recently, Bakery Manager.
I’ve been with Ste. Anne’s Bakery since the beginning of 2015; developing several projects like the gluten-free certification, promoting, wholesale distribution, a new gluten-free cookbook, and developing new gluten-free products.
I’ve always been fascinated by the tourism and hospitality industry and I have spent part of my life expanding my knowledge to provide an exceptional tangible and intangible service.
I would describe myself as a simple person that likes to enjoy the journey of life.
