Jessica Kelly is the Direct Farm Marketing Program Lead within the Business Management Unit at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). Based in Elora, she provides business-related support to farmers’ markets and direct farm marketers throughout the province. Prior to joining the Ministry, Jessica taught an introductory course in accounting and business at the University of Western Ontario. She studied business administration at the Richard Ivey School of Business and agricultural economics at the University of Guelph, where her thesis focused on the farmers’ share of the food dollar in Canada. Jessica and her husband live on a pig farm near Listowel.
