Kathleen Ireland is the Global Marketing Manager at NOD Apiary Products, a company founded in 1997 in Canada by beekeepers with a mission to bring the most sustainable, convenient and effective Honey bee and animal health products to over 20 countries in the global marketplace. As well, she is accountable for her company’s Pharmacovigelence practices, and monitors, records and evaluates global issues pertaining to MAQS in the countries in which the product has been licensed for use.
Kathleen is also an active member of the Honey Bee Health Coalition, an organization with the goal of reversing recent declines in Honey bee health, and ensuring the sustainability of all pollinators.
Kathleen fell passionately in love with Honey bees after joining the NOD team in 2011, and she and her husband now run an ever growing hobby yard at their home in rural Ontario, Canada. When she is not working with bees, beekeepers, researchers, agricultural organizations and farmers, Kathleen either heads to the lake with a camera, or grabs her backpack, her husband and Lonely Planet guide and travels the world.
