Nick Van Lankveld
Nick Van Lankveld has been with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ Meat Inspection Program in a variety of roles for 12 years. He began his career in the OPS as a field inspector, assigned to slaughter houses in the Woodstock area. As his training and experiences developed between assignments headquartered in Ingersoll and Dunnville, he advanced into a variety of managerial roles including Area Manager of the Vineland and Guelph areas. Five years ago, Nick became Regional Manager – West/North with about 98 staff, including seven direct-report managers and administrative support reporting his position. On November 17, 2014, Nick accepted a lateral opportunity to be the Regional Manager – East, with similar reporting relationships and client base.
